Step 1. File your nails to remove the top layer of gel polish. Step 2. Soak a cotton ball in acetone. Step 3. Place the cotton ball on your nail and wrap it in aluminum foil. Wait 20 minutes. Step 4. Use a cuticle pusher to gently remove the gel polish.
Step 1. Drop a small amount of gel alcohol (Hand sanitiser) or cuticle oil into the space between the nail and the gel and gently peel it off from the cuticle side. Step 2. If any sticky layer remains, wipe it off with a nail wipe lightly moistened with alcohol.
